If you’ve seen my recent posts, you’ll know just how much of a sucker I am for all things festive. One time, I even forced my friend to wait so I can take photos of all the festive decorations they put up at the mall and include them in a post. *cough* here *cough*
I was pretty devastated when I found out I wouldn’t be allowed to decorate around the house accordingly, but I was not going to go down without a fight! And you could say I was victorious, as for you’re now reading a ‘Christmas decorations haul’, so…. 😊
Anyways, rambly intros aside, I hope you enjoy!
I’ve gotten quite a few baubles.
First of all, these ones, made of glass.
The first glass bunch is of these 6 silver ones – 3 are matte and 3 have that mirror effect. It’s also worth noting that my Christmas tree this year will be silver, white and blue/turquoise, so most of these fit that colour scheme. (as those are the exact colours my vast ‘Christmas ornament collection’ lacks)
Next up, this little snowman, also made of glass, and these two little baubles, turquoise and white.
Now, a bit more on the ‘doesn’t really match the colour scheme’ side, these beautiful hearts. I just love the look of these! They are also made of glass and it’s so metaphorical – a heart, which is oh-so fragile is made of glass – an easily shatterable material. Hm, love that detail! 😉
Now, I think I’ve saved the best for last. My mother actually found these and oh my gosh, they are so wonderful! (not made of glass)
I think the best things about them are the boxes – I almost want to use the boxes as decor as well. (I might just end up doing that!)
There are 2 kinds of these baubles:
The red ones, with some reindeer and cool, winter-y aesthetics.
The blue/grayish ones, with a more of a ‘storyline’ design.
(I just love the texture of these!)
I also got quite a few bits and bobs to put around the flat! (sweet, sweet vict0ry)
First up, there’s these felt snowflakes, which I was planning on putting on my windows. There are 4 snowflakes per pack and I got 2 whites and a red. (I thought it would be a lovely ‘pop of colour’)
Next up, there’s these two strings.
(I appolagise for this ‘terrible picture break’ that’s coming up, these were additional photos I had to take, as I forgot to do so when I shot all the others… whoops!)
One’s with small, white snowflakes with red details and a plaid ribbon.
The other’s with larger Christmas trees, the ribbon being plain red this time.
Now, as soon as I saw this star I knew I had to have it! It’s made of jingle bells. JINGGLE BELLS!
I was planning on putting this on my door, along with some tinsel around it.
And the last things I’ve gotten are actually to wrap/decorate the presents I’ll be buying and that is –
2 wrapping papers
And that’s all for today! Ahh, this was a fun one to create. 😀
What do you think of these decorations?
What some of your favourite Christmas decorations?
Thank you so much for reading!
I hope you have a lovely day, walkin’ in the winter wonderland. 😊
