1st Blogiversary + A Giveaway!!

Today is a very special day. Why? Well, it’s my baby’s 1st birthday! And by ‘baby’ I mean my blog!

October 14th 2014., after a long time thinking about it and watching so many beauty YouTubers, who also had blogs, I decided to jump into the world of blogging,. (however, I like to say/think that I actually properly started blogging in January 2015, as I had no idea what I was doing until then… frankly, I think I still don’t!)

Here’s a fun fact – I kept my blog secret from anyone for about 9 months, as it isn’t quite common over here, until my family members found out. (I guess they found me taking photos of beauty products on my terrace a bit odd? Psh!) They didn’t really care all that much, about it, though.

Next up was my best friend (shoutouts to you, boo, if you’re reading this, haha!) who saw my post because I published it on Twitter. She was completely supportive and non-judgmental at all, which was such a relief.

The last person that found out, about a month after my best friend was another good friend, who actually made a blog too (after finding out about mine) which I thought was super cool, as I was able to rant about blog-related stuff to someone IRL! (click here to check her blog out)

And that’s everybody! To this day, haha!

Another friend of mine also made a blog and I helped her out with that, too, but she still doesn’t know anything, hehe!

This was my little ramble, and now it’s time for me to do something that I know I don’t do enough over here and that is to thank you. Every single person reading this. There may not be a million of you, but you have no idea how much you all mean to me. I remember having the crappiest of days and then logging into WordPress, seeing a wonderful comment and my day instantly brightening up. (not just to me, but to anyone online) It just shows how powerful a single comment, that it might take you 2.5 seconds to write, is.

I already adore blogging, as it truly is something that makes me happy, no matter what is going on, and you all just make it so much better, so, from the bottom of my heart – thank you. 🙂
