HUGE Collective Haul (LUSH, Burt’s Bees, Rimmel, Clinique…)

Hello everybody! 🙂

Recently, I’ve gotten quite a few beauty bits and bobs and I decided to share with you.

Just a little note: I didn’t purchase all of this at the same time, nor did I get it all myself. Some of it I ordered from my family that went abroad for 2 weeks and some of it was gifted to me by relatives. 🙂

Okay, let’s get into it!

*stuff I bought*

1) Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick – 38

I saw in one of Zoe’s recent video (this one!) that she used this shade and I thought it was so incredibly gorgeous that I just had to get it! It’s such a perfect summer shade, it is quite ‘salmon-y’ (as Zoe described it), but still such a lovely nude.

2) Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick – 111 (Kiss Of Life)

I’ve been looking for a perfect red lipstick for quite some time now. I’ve heard quite a lot of rave and reviews about this shade, as well as the 107, so I made it my mission to get at least one of them, which I did, since they were out of 107. I tried this lipstick already and I FELL IN LOVE. There couldn’t be a shade more perfect than this one. It’s a gorgeous deep red and I think  it works well with my skin tone, so I am very excited for our future life together. :3

3) Maybelline Great Lash Mascara – Very Black

 I’ve seen this mascara around and it’s known for being the ‘original’ Maybelline mascara, so I thought ‘I should try it, since it’s the original.’ and so I picked it up and I can’t wait to give it a try. 🙂

4) LUSH Aqua Marina Face And Body Cleanser

Last time I was in LUSH, I picked up the ‘Let The Good Times Roll’ cleanser and I adored it, so this time I decided to try this one. I already used it and I have to say – I really like it! It is a bit too scented for my likings, but the smell is amazing. (Also, the first time I used it, my face started getting red… I guess it just took some getting used to) I do prefer the LTGTR one, as it leaves the skin feeling softer, so I’d class this one as an ‘everyday cleanser’.

5) LUSH Big! Seasalt Shampoo

Since summer is here, I decided that I really wanted to try out some beach-y waves, and whilst a sea salt spray might’ve been an easier and more logical option, we don’t have that. I’ve wanted this shampoo for a while now and decided to finally get it!

6) LUSH Lip Sugar Scrub – Bubblegum

Another thing I’ve wanted for a long time. I’ve used this one as well and it. is. amazing. The only problem is that it smells/tastes so nice that I actually want to eat it. (Don’t worry, I won’t)

7) LUSH Mask and Hand Cream

LUSH masks have always appealed to me and so when I was writing my little wishlist, I forgot to include the actual mask, so instead I got a little sample of a mask and hand cream. So cute!

8) Burt’s Bees

I’ve talked about how much I adore my Beeswax lip balm before (click here) and, quite ironically, the day after that post was published, I lost it. So, I asked for a new one and my lovely aunt (whom I call ‘cousin’ because she’s my age) that works in a version of ‘Boots’, sent me these babies: Beeswax and Honey lip balms. I was so excited!

Gifts:

9) Clinique Chubby Stick (shade – 04 or Mega Melon)

This was a gift for my aunt-cousin and I was so shocked when I saw it because I was not expecting it. It was just so thoughtful, such a nice gesture and she picked an incredible product, so Alex, thank you so much! 🙂

10) M.A.C. Eyeshadow – shade: Bitter

Another gift, this time from my uncle. He knows me way too well, since all I ever talk about when I’m there is makeup and how M.A.C. is amazing etc. so he got me this and, again, so thoughtful and nice! Wow! 😀

11) Michael Kors Spring Nail and Lip Duo

Okay, this was the most jaw-dropping gift, I’d say. Everyone knows who Michael Kors is and when I saw this, I couldn’t believe it! This one was also from my uncle and I just don’t know what to say or how to express how thankful I am. (wow, I’m a blogger and I can’t even express myself… isn’t that ironic?)

Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure this was limited edition, since I can’t find it anywhere… Sorry!

Prima Donna is a beautiful purple-ish fushia shade. I think it’d be perfect for the summer, as a bold lip. It’s not too dark, which is what makes it perfect for the warmer months, for me. 🙂

The nail polish is a gorgeous, pastel lime green colour. (It is called ‘Limelight’ haha) It’s beautiful, as well, and I really think these two go together very well. I can’t wait to wear them! 😀
